STATE CHAMPS!!! BREAKING NEWS - THE STRETCHLON LADY STARS 14U ARE THE 2008 NCUSFA STATE CHAMPS!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE PLAYERS, COACHES AND PARENTS FOR A JOB WELL DONE. GREAT PITCHING, HITTING AND DEFENSE COMBINED TOGETHER IS A DEADLY COMBINATION. WAY TO GO, LADY STARS!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. BEST WISHES TO THE HIGH SCHOOL STARS AS THEY TRAVEL THIS WEEKEND TO CHARLOTTE FOR THE ASA STATE TOURNAMENT, AND ALSO TO THE 14'S, PLAYING AT HOME IN ROCKY MOUNT.
Great job both teams as the 2008 season is well underway with plenty of action on the fields. The new uniforms look wonderful, and each team is loaded and ready to make a great 2008. Good luck to everyone on their school teams' seasons as well. Great parctice for the High School Stars last Sunday as we worked situational softball together with live pitching. All teams plan to be at Hornbeam Park in RM on Saturday, 3/15 for the 100 Inning Game Fundraiser. This is an excellent way to raise money to off-set playing costs for ther season. Also the Lady Stars Golf Tournament plans are well underway, as we will play at Birchwood Country Club in Nashville on Saturday, 4/26 from 12 - 6PM. This is another great way to raise much-needed funds to allow each team to play softball and showcase their skills for the coming season.
